Risk Disclosure
A launch can’t be undone.
Creating a coin is a high-risk, public, and generally irreversible act. Understand every risk below before connecting a wallet or signing.
Effective September 7, 2026
Tokens may have no utility, buyers, liquidity, or lasting value. Prices can move to zero immediately. Never create, buy, or promote a token with money or obligations you cannot afford to lose.
1. No advice or endorsement
Vane provides software, not investment, brokerage, legal, tax, accounting, compliance, or financial advice. A token’s availability through Vane, Pump, or a Stonkfun-compatible pool does not mean it is legitimate, lawful, vetted, endorsed, valuable, or suitable for anyone.
2. Market and token risk
- Tokens may be purely speculative and have no intrinsic value.
- Markets may be illiquid, manipulated, volatile, concentrated, or unavailable.
- Creators, insiders, bots, or third parties may buy or sell in ways that cause sudden price changes or losses.
- A token can be copied, impersonated, abandoned, delisted, or lose all demand.
- Creator-fee incentives may conflict with users’ interests and do not ensure responsible conduct or token success.
3. Irreversible transaction risk
Solana transactions are generally irreversible after confirmation. Vane cannot recover funds, cancel a launch, change a mint address, reverse a fee-sharing configuration, or correct a signed transaction. A mistyped amount, compromised wallet, wrong account, malicious extension, or misunderstood instruction can cause permanent loss.
4. Atomic Pump launch bundle
Vane’s Pump.fun flow asks the wallet to approve the coin creation and fee-sharing transactions before submitting either one. Vane then sends them, in order, through an atomic bundle service so both are intended to execute together or neither is executed. Bundle services, Solana, wallets, and RPC providers can still fail, delay, reorganize, or report incomplete information. If Vane ever shows that a coin exists without completed fee setup, do not relaunch it; use the recovery action shown on the page. The Stonkfun-compatible flow creates the pool and any selected dev buy atomically in one transaction.
5. Creator-fee risk
The 25% Vane share applies only to the Pump.fun route and only to creator fees actually allocated and distributed by the relevant Pump programs. It is not 25% of token supply, trading volume, protocol fees, liquidity, or sale proceeds. Creator-selected recipient addresses and percentages may become final after fee setup and cannot necessarily be corrected. Creator fees depend on trading, market conditions, third-party programs, network operation, and future protocol rules. They may be small, delayed, changed, unavailable, or zero.
6. Vanity-address risk
Vanity generation is probabilistic. Longer patterns may take an unpredictable amount of time or never finish on your device. The mint secret exists only in volatile browser memory and will be lost if the page reloads, closes, crashes, or is reset before launch. A vanity string does not establish identity, authenticity, ownership, or endorsement.
7. Smart-contract and infrastructure risk
Solana, Pump programs, Stonkfun, Raydium LaunchLab, wallets, RPC services, metadata storage, browsers, hosting, and other dependencies may contain bugs, change behavior, become congested, halt, reject requests, be exploited, or become unavailable. Simulation and status checks reduce some failure modes but cannot eliminate them.
8. Public metadata and privacy risk
Wallet addresses, token materials, transaction details, and other records may be publicly visible, indexed, copied, correlated, and retained indefinitely. Public wallet activity can reveal financial behavior or be linked to other information. Do not upload personal or confidential data.
9. Scam and wallet-security risk
Phishing sites, fake support accounts, malicious wallet extensions, copied brands, and deceptive tokens are common. Verify the domain, mint, wallet prompt, transaction, and destination addresses every time. Vane will never ask for your seed phrase or private key. Anyone asking for one is not legitimate Vane support.
10. Legal, regulatory, and tax risk
Laws differ by jurisdiction and may change. Creating, distributing, promoting, selling, or earning fees from a token may trigger securities, commodities, money-transmission, consumer-protection, advertising, intellectual-property, sanctions, anti-money-laundering, reporting, or tax obligations. Calling something a “meme coin” does not determine its legal treatment. You are responsible for obtaining qualified advice before acting.
11. Your acknowledgment
By proceeding, you acknowledge that you understand these risks, can bear the consequences, have independently evaluated the launch, and are not relying on Vane for advice, verification, recovery, profits, or regulatory compliance.
