Privacy Notice
Minimal collection. Public chains.
Vane is designed without user accounts or an application database. Some information still reaches infrastructure providers, launch platforms, public metadata storage, and the Solana blockchain.
Effective September 7, 2026
Token metadata, images, wallet addresses, and transactions may become public and effectively permanent. Do not include personal, confidential, or sensitive information in token materials.
1. Scope and controller
This Notice explains how information is processed through the Vane website and launcher. Vane does not require an account, email address, or real-name profile. It does not govern Pump, Stonkfun, Raydium, Solana, wallet providers, RPC providers, IPFS gateways, or other third parties, which publish their own privacy notices.
Accountless does not mean anonymous. Public wallet activity, submitted token materials, and infrastructure logs may identify you or be linked to other information.
2. Information processed
- Wallet and blockchain information. Your public wallet address, selected fee-recipient addresses, balance requests, mint address, transaction data, signatures, and public on-chain activity. Vane does not request or store your seed phrase or wallet private key.
- Token materials. The name, symbol, description, image, and optional social or website links that you choose to submit for upload.
- Device and request information. Hosting, security, and network providers may process IP address, browser or device type, timestamps, requested routes, error information, and similar technical logs.
- Local preference. Vane stores your light or dark theme choice in browser local storage on your device.
- Communications. If you contact Vane through a published channel, its maintainers may process the information you provide to answer and maintain a reasonable operational record.
3. How information is used
Information is processed to:
- provide, secure, maintain, and troubleshoot the launcher;
- generate transaction requests, retrieve blockchain state, and display status;
- transmit token materials for the upload and launch you request;
- prevent fraud, abuse, attacks, prohibited activity, and service disruption;
- comply with law, enforce terms, and establish or defend legal claims; and
- respond to support, privacy, and security communications.
4. Where information goes
- Launch and metadata services. When you launch, Vane forwards your image and token fields to Pump’s metadata upload service, including for the Stonkfun-compatible route. Resulting metadata may be stored on IPFS or another public content-addressed system. Vane also requests live launch settings and eligible quote-token data from Stonkfun for its Stonkfun route.
- Solana and RPC providers. Public wallet, account, mint, transaction, simulation, and signature-status information is sent through Solana RPC infrastructure and may be recorded on the public blockchain.
- Atomic bundle service. Signed Pump launch and fee-sharing transactions are sent from your browser to Jito’s block engine for ordered bundle submission. Jito may receive network and request information under its own policies.
- Wallet software. Your wallet provider processes connection and signature requests under its own terms.
- Hosting and security providers. Infrastructure providers process requests and logs to deliver and protect the service.
- Legal and safety disclosures. Information may be disclosed when reasonably necessary to comply with law, protect rights and safety, investigate abuse, or complete a business transfer.
Vane does not currently sell personal information, share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, or use third-party advertising trackers.
Review Pump’s separate Privacy Notice for its processing practices.
5. Cookies, local storage, and tracking
Vane does not currently use advertising cookies or analytics cookies. It uses browser local storage only to remember your theme preference. Hosting or security providers may use strictly necessary storage or cookies to deliver and protect the site.
Because Vane does not currently track activity over time across unrelated websites for advertising, browser “Do Not Track” signals do not change Vane’s behavior. If tracking practices change, this Notice and any required consent controls must be updated first.
6. Retention and public records
Vane does not currently maintain user accounts or an application database. Form data and generated mint secrets remain in volatile browser memory until the page is closed, reloaded, reset, or the browser reclaims memory. The server processes upload and RPC requests in transit and does not intentionally create a lasting copy in a Vane database.
Infrastructure and third-party providers may retain security or operational logs under their own policies. Public blockchain and IPFS records may be retained indefinitely and cannot necessarily be corrected or deleted by Vane.
7. Legal bases and international transfers
Where a legal basis is required, Vane processes information as needed to provide the service you request, pursue legitimate interests in operating and securing the service, comply with legal obligations, and, where applicable, based on consent. Providers may process data in countries other than your own, subject to the safeguards required by applicable law.
8. Your privacy rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to know, access, correct, delete, restrict, object to, or receive a copy of personal information, withdraw consent, or appeal a denied request. You may also complain to a privacy regulator. Vane will not discriminate against you for exercising applicable rights.
These rights generally cannot require Vane to alter public blockchain or content-addressed records that it does not control. Because Vane has no user accounts or application database, it may have little or no private record that can be associated with a requester.
9. Security
Vane uses measures such as same-origin request checks, input and file validation, request-size limits, restricted RPC methods, security headers, and client-side wallet signing. No system is perfectly secure, and Vane cannot guarantee that the service or third-party networks will never be compromised.
10. Children
Vane is not directed to children and may be used only by people who are at least 18 years old. Vane’s maintainers do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
11. Changes to this Notice
This Notice may be updated when the service, providers, or legal requirements change. Material changes will be identified by a revised effective date and, when required, additional notice.
